Elon Musk, the chairman of X, confirmed this on Thursday via his Twitter account.

He explained that X will not only remove bots and troll accounts, but that the platform’s parent firm, X Corp, would also take legal action against anyone responsible.
He wrote: “System cleaning of bots and trolls is ongoing. Please notify me or @XEng if legitimate accounts are suspended. X Corp will track down the perpetrators and apply the full power of the law against them.”
