Prior to their trip to Bayern Munich, Arsenal got a significant injury boost

For Arsenal’s Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich, manager Mikel Arteta is expected to have captain Martin Odegaard available.

On Sunday, they drew 2-2 with Aston Villa, and Odegaard was substituted off in the 62nd minute.

Arteta stated the midfielder experienced “a small issue” following the Emirates match.

Odegaard has returned to training, though, according to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

“Martin Ødegaard is training with the Arsenal squad today ahead of the Bayern game,” Romano tweeted on Tuesday.

“After a minor problem on Sunday, he appears to be fine and ready to go.”
