Carragher pronounces judgment on Liverpool star, saying he will never be the team’s leading scorer

Jamie Carragher, a legendary Liverpool player, has spoken out about Darwin Nunez, saying the striker would never be a top scorer.

Carragher commented on Nunez’s influence on Jurgen Klopp’s squad, saying that the Uruguayan international is dangerous but will inevitably squander goal-scoring opportunities.

He won’t change a thing, listen, when you consider Liverpool and Nunez in particular. After all, “He is what he is,” Carragher stated on the podcast with Gary Neville.

“There will be occasions when he looks dangerous and misses opportunities. But I don’t think he has, and probably never will have, the pinpoint accuracy of the best players.

“He plays that role for the team, Mo Salah.”
