The government of Nigeria enforces prices at supermarkets in Abuja

In an effort to ensure that supermarkets around Abuja show prices and comply with quantity regulations, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has launched a campaign.

This all began on Thursday at 4U Supermarket, Wuse 2, Abuja, as per the Commission’s order.

According to the statement, this action is in reaction to customer complaints regarding increasing prices of items, which contradict the recent strengthening of the naira.

According to the Commission, there is still a big problem with price differences.

The document emphasized that shoppers should be made aware of the costs of products they plan to buy.
