Sowore: “Electricity tariff hike: Peter Obi supports Tinubu to decimate the poor”

According to Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) backed President Bola Tinubu’s electric tariff increase, which would have a devastating effect on low-income families.

And Sowore made fun of Obi for going to Egypt to examine their power generating and distribution techniques in the run-up to the 2023 election.

Sowore asserted in a Monday post on his X name that Obi just went to one Egyptian power station to talk to a switchboard.

“These guys are just so dumb that they wake up and “Copy and paste” slogans from other climes,” he stated to them. Like this, @PeterObi awoke one morning and went to Egypt. He insisted he traveled to Egypt to study energy generation—all he did was go to one power station, look at the switchboard, and walk away.

“And now he’s proposing to “tax the rich”—as if the elimination of gasoline subsidies hadn’t benefited the Nigerian nouveau riche—or the hike in energy tariffs—as if the wealthy had to pay taxes.

After they’ve helped their Uncle @officialAbat wipe out low-income folks, they’ll start funding boreholes for them. People are just incredibly ignorant!

By the way, what’s the best approach to collect taxes from the wealthy when they use tax havens to conceal their money?
A new era is upon us. #RevolutionNow
