Former Abia governor Ogbonnaya Onu is mourned by Orji Kalu, who says, “He’ll be greatly missed.”

Dr. Ogbannaya Onu was a former minister of science, technology, and innovation, and his loss has been acknowledged with regret by Orji Kalu, who was also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization and a former governor of Abia State.

Onu, a former governor of Abia State, passed away on Thursday in Abuja after a long battle with an illness that was not disclosed, according to a previous report by COZMATO.

In a sympathy statement that he personally signed, Kalu reacted by describing the politician as a nationalist who is deeply committed to Nigerian unity and growth.

Kalu paid tribute to the former minister for his priceless contributions to the development of the country.

The congressman encouraged the deceased’s family to carry on their patriarch’s honorable work while reminding them to find comfort in the knowledge that he had a meaningful life.

The late statesman was dedicated to country building and was the epitome of a selfless humanitarian and politician.
