Ex-Fulham manager gushes about Lookman’s tireless efforts

Stuart Gray, who served as interim manager for Fulham, has complimented Ademola Lookman on his effort and commitment.

While on loan at Fulham for the 2020–21 season, Lookman played for Gray.

The Whites were demoted from the Premier League, although the Nigerian international scored five goals in 35 games.

The winger’s professionalism and commitment throughout their time working together pleased Gray.

Among the most selfless workers I’ve ever encountered, he was eager to put in countless hours at the training pitch. He went into the building before anybody else and would only leave after everyone else did, he told The Scottish Sun.

The most essential thing was that I tried to teach him that Saturday was game day. We had to remove him from the practice field because he would remain there for hours perfecting his technical skills, whether it was taking free kicks, crossing the ball, or shooting.

Atalanta, a club in Serie A, is now using Lookman’s services.

This season, in 24 league games for La Dea, the 26-year-old has scored eight goals and recorded four assists.
