If without faith it is impossible to please God, So what then is Faith ?

Faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see :- Hebrews 11:1

I titled todays message faith because the word of the Lord in Romans 10:10 says"its by faith that we are put

right with God and it is by our confession that we are saved" and verse 11 says "whosoever believes in him will

not be disappointed"

Therefore faith is the connecting bridge between God and man, faith is the link to us getting answers to our prayers and request thats why Jesus Christ God's only begotten son says in the book of Mark 11:22

"Have faith in God" and in verse 23 He said "I assure you that whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself

in the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him" and also in verse 24 He said " for this reason i tell you when you pray and ask for something believe that you have recieved it and you will be given whatever you ask for".

Wow how amazing it is, No wonder jesus went about doing great works effortlessly just only with the application of his faith and also people got healed through there faith a typical example in the bible was the woman with the issue of blood, This woman had blood discharge for twelve years without cure or remedy, she suffered going from one place to another but to no avail rather her situation became worst until she made up her mind and said enough is enough let me go and see the master healer, the man who problems are afraid of and she marched forward to meet Doctor Jesus believing that if only she

touch him she will be healed and after that encounter the rest was history to read the full and more detailed story checkout Luke 8:43-48 and there are many more who won God's approval by there faith examples of which are Abraham, Enoch, Noah, Abel, Isaac, Jacob e.t.c For more of the listed names of people who won God's approval by their faith check the book of Hebrew 11:4-39

So therefore i say to you if you believe you will recieve all you desire, all you have to do is Believe, Believe and Believe in Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our faith
